Bets for Pets Casino Night
Knights of Columbus in Pearland
March 1, 2014
Homeless pets win big at Friendswood Animal Advocates (FAA) 3rd annual Bets for Pets Casino Night! Our sponsors and patrons had an excellent evening consisting of gaming tables, a silent, and a live auction. About 300 people were in attendance and our poker tournament consisted of 64 players. Over $25,000 was raised to help animals in the local community. These funds will be used to help animals at Friendswood Animal Control who have medical problems. These animals would be euthanized if not for Friendswood Animal Advocates’ help. FAA is the sole provider of funds for medical needs at Friendswood Animal Control. We will also be able to continue our spay/neuter programs in the community. Due to our sponsors, donors, volunteers, and supporters we are able to continue our efforts for another year! For information on FAA, please contact them at firstname.lastname@example.org
